Our Staff
A large support staff team is vital to the smooth running of the practice.  All our staff are highly motivated and love looking after your pets and you.  They are all themselves pet owners.

Fiona Attwater Dip AVN [surg] VN is our newest member of staff. Fiona joined the practice in July 07 and is already one of the team!  She qualified as a VN over ten years ago and  also studied for three years whilst working full time to gain a diploma in surgical nursing.
Karen Norman is our full-time Practice Nurse.  She has previous experience with the RSPCA.  Karen has a menagerie of pets at home and her excellent animal care skills are invaluable to us.

Maggie Clarke is our part-time receptionist.  She quickly adapted to this demanding role and is an excellent addition to our team.
  
  
Susan Harper works part-time in reception. She is enjoying a complete change of career with us.  She is also involved in administration and her input is vital to keeping the practice running smoothly.  
Liz Surridge is our much valued Nursing Assistant.  She is a local lady who provides excellent support to the nursing team.

Our Aims
Paula Borthwick is our Practice Manager.  You will also see her on reception.  The administration involved in running a Veterinary Practice is staggering and Paula's meticulous attention to detail is vital in keeping things running smoothly. 
   
Laura Reilly recently passed her Animal Nursing Assistant exam [ANA] at Plumpton College.  Now she is qualified as an ANA, she plans to continue her studies for a further two years to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse. 
Wendy Pegler also works part-time, helping  in reception and with administration.  You may also hear her friendly voice at the end of the phone.

Amy Garbo joined Meridian in January 05.  She has a National Diploma of Applied Science in Animal Management, and has recently qualified as a  Veterinary Nurse.
